Primepaw Dog Training: San Francisco's BEST!

We’ve been taking our puppy, Rocco, to training classes at Prime Paw and our experience has been fantastic. Dom is an incredible trainer who genuinely understands Rocco and knows how to work with him in a gentle, patient, and effective way. As first time puppy parents, we’ve especially appreciated how clearly Dom explains everything and how comfortable he makes us feel while we learn. He is also simply a wonderful person who clearly cares about the puppies and their families. I highly recommend Prime Paw and especially Dom. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable, patient, and compassionate puppy trainer, go to him. Five stars!

We found it surprisingly difficult to safely socialize our puppy with other puppies, especially before she was fully vaccinated. Prime Paw’s puppy socials have given her a safe, well-managed place to play, learn, and build confidence with dogs her own age and size. Even if you already have a trainer, Prime Paw is an excellent resource and a great complement to your puppy’s training. We can’t recommend it enough!

We first learned about Primepaw through the SFSPCA, who recommended them as a great spot, when we adopted Polly through the shelter. After two delightful private sessions in our home with Joanne where she gave us a ton of useful tips and tricks to help with Polly's development and training, we decided to buy the six pack for Puppy Kindergarten. Well worth the investment. Polly was shy around other dogs when we started and has grown so much in her confidence through the masterful training and love of the team at Primepaw. I've appreciated that since she is a such a small dog, they've intentionally made sure she is playing with dogs of her size to keep her confident and safe. She absolutely adores going there, and we appreciate all of the suggestions for additional games at home from Dominic during pick up and drop off. She is just thrilled each time we pull up to Primepaw because she knows she's going to have the best day ever.
