Priory K9 Training

Andy and Lyndsay at Priory K9 are the absolute best in the business! We sought out training for our 1 year old male German Shepherd. He was extremely dog reactive, going on walks usually ended in tears. He was full of energy and didn’t want to listen. We were recommended Priory K9 by our breeder, and after a consultation with Andy and Lyndsay we knew they would help us get where we wanted to be! It was tough for me to leave our boy for the board and train, but we knew Priory K9 would take care of him. It was so great to see all the updates on their instagram/facebook and we were able to keep up with his progress. After we picked him up, we also got a lesson of our own and I learned (and am still learning) so much. This was 5 years ago, and we have been going to see Andy and Lyndsay at the group class almost every month! Now we go because we love seeing them, (and our dog might love them even more). We have so much fun refreshing our training every month and also seeing the progress of other dogs we’ve gotten to know. Dog training is not an overnight fix, and we have been SO grateful to Andy and Lyndsay for their continued support during our journey. They were always available for additional training or any questions I had. Now I love our daily walks and feel confident when we step out the door. We have had two children since our initial training, and Priory K9 helped us prepare for that as well! And now our dog is the best big brother we could have asked for. Andy and Lyndsay are genuine and kind people. You can feel the love and passion they have for their dogs and for what they do as soon as you speak with them. I can’t recommend Priory K9 enough!

Our two corgis used to absolutely run the house. They beat each other up, had questionable manners, and wouldn’t know a command if it booped them directly on the snout. Corgis are naturally opinionated, stubborn little creatures anyway, and since we waited until they were two and four years old to really tackle training, we honestly had no idea what to expect. Priory completely blew away our expectations. Our dogs now actually listen, have a whole slew of commands, understand boundaries, and have developed manners we genuinely weren’t sure were possible. The difference in our household has been huge, and we would not be where we are without the Priory team going above and beyond for us and our two tiny dictators. And possibly most importantly, they were excellent at training the humans too. One of us in particular has a tendency to let the dogs get away with absolutely everything, so Priory definitely had their work cut out for them on that front. We’re so grateful for the patience, knowledge, support, and care they put into our dogs — and us. If you have stubborn, strong-willed dogs who have convinced themselves they’re actually in charge of the mortgage, we cannot recommend Priory enough.
