Prodigy Pups Dog Training LLC

I contacted Christa at Prodigy Pups about obedience training for our two (2) German Shepherds. One was six (6) months old and one was a year old. Christa was very responsive. We discussed the goals I had in mind for our dogs and i booked 6 sessions. Christa is very knowledgeable about dog behavior and helped us identify the 'why' dogs exhibit particular behaviors. She provided solutions and often more than one option to correct the behavior such as jumping, leash pulling, recall, etc. Christa came to our residence and was always prompt. Sometimes, we had to change a training session and she was accommodating. Since we had two dogs to train at the same time, we did both joint lessons and also worked with them independently. She also assisted us with shock and prong collar training which helped immensely! We took them to the state park and received many compliments on how well behaved they were even when seeing other dogs, kids, etc. This is important for a variety of reasons but also a way to change the perception of GSD being a dangerous breed. A trip to the vet yielded great results too. No barking or charging other dogs in waiting area. Christa is a great trainer and cares about her clients. She is friendly and well versed in dog training. But also know it is your responsibility as the dog owner to work on the skills with your dog(s) in between sessions. I would highly recommend Christa given her skill set and love of dogs.

My dog Molly is 13 years old and has been boarded with Christa and now Rhonda all of her life. She loves to have them take care of her---she is so excited when she sees them that she completely forgets about me! Rhonda keeps me updated with texts and pictures while Molly is with her and I feel completely confident that she is getting excellent care. She becomes a member of the family when she is boarded. I can't say enough great things about Prodigy pups----they are just the Best!!

Our trainers Christa & Rhonda were exceptional! I have also used their services for boarding. It was so great to get away & know your dog is safe and being taken care of so well vs just sitting in a kennel all day. The team is top notch with communication throughout your dogs stay both with training and boarding. Our girl, Lulu came home with some great training techniques. I would highly recommend you bring your dog here!

Even though my husband and I have never had a pet trained by Prodigy Pups, our children have. When these dogs come to visit, they are by far the best behaved dogs we have ever welcomed into our home. They listen, obey and are a joy to be with. Even with the discipline they show, they still have their own personal characteristics and keep us in stitches laughing. I would highly recommend this company and its trainers.
