There are a plenty of snake avoidance courses in metro Tucson. The best of the best even have a similar design to this program. But this course stands out due to instructor Dave Purwin's extensive professional and educational background in wildlife management. This background helps ensure that the snakes are viewed as living creatures, rather than tools or pests, and treated with exceptional care and respect. The treatment of living training snakes varies from program to program based on the values and attitudes of the people in charge of the program, and it can be very tricky to determine how well the snakes are treated in any particular program. So if you're the type of person who wants to peacefully coexist with wild animals and/ or the type of person who strongly believes that humans are "guests" in wildlife's territory, then this program is most likely perfect for you!
