Proformance K9

I brought my GSD here for a two week board and train. Promised she would be introduced to scent work to see if she would be a good candidate and an at home visit after 2 weeks of being back at home. All the $$$$ spent and it only resulted in what I consider to be a very expensive e-collar and prong collar. When I picked her up I was only given 1/2 hour instruction AT MOST as to what she learned and how to use the collars. Apparently the trainer had another appointment and my bill was paid. The collar goes straight to shock mode - no warning beep for the dog. And then you can’t tell if it’s “shocking” or not because there is no audible signal at all. Not introduced to scent work - only told they “hold classes” - more $$$. I probably would have signed up for them if she had been introduced as promised and that she’d be interested. No home visit or any other follow up of any kind as promised when I booked her. Oh - I was given access to a few minute video. Should have listened to others and gone to in person training with her! Probably would have spent MUCH less and the both of us gained MUCH more. I picked this place for training because of the work he does with GSD’s and was hoping to gain some insight as to my then 1 yr old GSD’s potential abilities. Live and learn.

Tim is awesome and I cant stress enough how professional and loving he is with his dogs. He clearly spends hours training them in a safe and comfortable environment. The facility is beautiful and any future doggies will be going through him. My dog stayed her loving, goofy self, while learning restraint and not jumping on others. She still shows her excitement but in appropriate ways. I will be recommending Proformace K9 to everyone I know!

I just picked up my puppy this past weekend after she spent two weeks with Tim doing obedience training. I was so nervous to leave her with a stranger. I cannot stress enough how helpful and knowledgeable Tim was. In the months leading up to us dropping her off Tim took time out of his days to answer any questions I had. When we dropped her off he showed us where she would be working and took his time to set expectations for us and go over what the next two weeks would look like for our puppy! I was really nervous about using a training collar for training but Tim took his time going over how the collar worked, what he used it for and how beneficial it really is for training. When we picked her up Tim spent almost two hours with us going over everything that she had learned in the two weeks. My puppy is still her loveable crazy self but she has learned so much and is doing so well. I am blown away at the transformation that has happened. Tim had us work with her when we picked her up so that he could offer tips and make sure we were comfortable with the training so that we can keep up with it at home. Tim is going to come out in about a month or so to see her in her home environment, see how the training is going and offer extra support. Walking my pup before this training was nearly impossible and now it is like a dream. She is so great on and off the leash. I had watched so many YouTube videos on dog training before we adopted our puppy and I took her to some puppy training classes and none of them did anything for us. Tim has the knowledge and genuinely cares for the dogs that he trains. He sets up the owners and the dogs for success. He went above and beyond in expectations. The facilities on his property are so clean and well kept. All my future four-legged children I will be taking to Tim to get trained. I cannot stress enough how highly I recommend this training program
