Jutka is totally amazing. Professional, science based, and loves her job. I did have some confusion with scheduling group classes and I felt really sad about it- Jutka reached out to me personally and cleared everything up (Thankfully- because you won’t find a better trainer.) , explained that the scheduler Molly was juggling both this and a separate job, and that they did have a high demand due to all the COVID pups. And like that’s fine. Mistakes happen. . What I really appreciated is that she made it possible to schedule yourself which I prefer since it is black and white. With the issues that I was facing in my dogs adolescence phase -we both decided that private training would be the most beneficial. So I did. I just had my third class and I’m very thankful that we gave it another go. ❤️🙂 She is very kind, thoughtful, fun, and clever. My boy definitely tries his hardest to get his way and he has met his match with her! (And hopefully me- eventually.) Thanks Jutka!!

I started out trying to train my new puppy on my own by reading books, watching you-tube videos and relying on my years of dog-ownership. I quickly realized I was all over the map, confusing my puppy and needed some help. After researching puppy training in NOVA I signed Coda up with PuppyK. I am 100% satisfied with the experience we have had with PuppyK. The class size was perfect, large enough to socialize our pups but small enough to get individualized attention as needed, ask questions and of course feel "covid safe". They are quick to respond via e-mail to any queries. I cannot speak highly enough about our trainer Celia. She is personable, thorough, professional, clearly loves dogs and recognized the needs/strengths and weaknesses of not only our pups but us, the owners, as well. She gave excellent feedback on how to maximize our puppies and our own learning. She sent a PDF review of everything we learned each week in class, how to work on what we learned and a separate article on additional training tips or gear. She was happy to field questions during and after class. I literally watched my puppy, Coda transform from a very shy introvert in the first class (the exact opposite of what he usually is at home) to a much more interactive and playful and trusting pup in class by week 6. We are looking forward to participating in the upcoming tricks class and hopefully advanced puppy in the New Year!
