Pups with a Purpose

Pups with a Purpose has been an amazing partner with us in getting our two Border Collie puppies off to a great start! We have enjoyed many social classes which are so good for puppies learning how to meet other dogs, new people, and play with new puppy friends. We have also learned so much from our Puppy Headstart classes which focus on beginning recall skills, exploring sensory challenges, and exposing/desensitizing puppies to sounds, textures, and sights. We love how Gina and Bethany are always so generous with their time to answer questions, explain the rationale behind each exercise or station, and be so hands on and knowledgeable. Our puppies have always been safe and well cared for - and LOVE getting high interest treats from the trainers! We definitely plan to continue with classes as our two dogs grow older and are ready to learn new skills. Communication is always excellent with reminder emails when we've signed up for a class, and quick responses to questions from Maddie who is kind and friendly. Highly recommend Pups with a Purpose!

My pup and I have been to two puppy social classes so far and we cannot recommend it enough! In just two socials my fear reactive puppy has learned the world isn’t so scary. He’s approaching strangers more readily and accepting new dogs in his space better. I was super overwhelmed when he started to show signs of fear and he was overreacting when he saw other dogs especially those bigger than him, so I reached out to Pups with a Purpose. They listened to all of my concerns and assured me the social classes could and would help. The two instructors, Gina and Bethany are absolutely fantastic. They have really helped me understand how to advocate for my pup but also challenge him to grow and accept new situations. I look forward to the classes every week now and plan on attending at least two more and probably more like six more. Plus at $10.70 per class it’s a steal! I cut out my occasional takeout lunch and I can easily afford these classes. All of the pet parents and families I’ve met in class have been so kind and encouraging, I have felt absolutely no judgement that my puppy came in being a little rude and snappy. Everyone is accepting and is working together to see each and every puppy progress every week. Truly worth every penny and the time each week. Thanks Pups with a Purpose, Gina and Bethany!!
