We have had a very positive experience working with Rob training our dog Dottie. We've been working with him since Dottie was five months old; we can attribute Rob to Dottie being leash trained as well as her no longer jumping on people. Dottie also does not jump on furniture or go upstairs. Rob provides good feedback to owners during training sessions, explaining how to give commands, set boundaries, hold the leash, etc., allowing owners to continue training outside of lessons. We also use Rob regularly for boarding Dottie when we're away and have consistently found him reliable and trustworthy. Dottie is always excited to see him. We've seen so much progress in her behavior since we began training.

We cannot recommend Rob from Purposeful Canines enough! This was our third different trainer over the last 8 months, and we had a renewed sense of hope from the moment we started working with Rob. We enrolled Barkley in Rob’s board and train program, and the results were absolutely outstanding. Rob truly has a gift for understanding and training dogs. He took the time to evaluate Barkley’s specific needs and created a tailored plan and utilized effective training tools that worked wonders. The transformation has been incredible — Barkley is calm, obedient, manageable, and an absolute joy to be around. We’ve seen improvements in her behavior that we never thought were possible. Because of Rob, we have been able to strengthen our bond with Barkley and feel confident as dog owners. As a bonus, Rob has provided us with advice on how to continue reinforcing the training at home during follow-up sessions and phone/text support. We’ve learned so much about how to communicate with Barkley and maintain the progress made during training. We now have the skills and confidence to keep Barkley on the right track, and it's made our lives so much more enjoyable. Not only was the training effective, but Barkley absolutely adores Rob. He built such a strong bond with Barkley during the board and train, which made the whole process even more special. The care, patience, and dedication Rob shows are unlike anything we’ve experienced before. Basically a new dog when our girl came home! We sent out energetic Raya to board and train to gain basic structure and to help start some foundational knowledge that two full time hour people couldnt give consistently. He has given us so much that we didnt know was possible! She walks so well, is less afraid, and way more confident! We are so very thankful for this experience and for Rob and all he has done for us! We’ve already recommended him to so many friends and family!
