Working with Kim has been one of the best decisions we’ve ever made for our dog. We already loved our little girl more than anything, but we didn’t realize how much more connected we could feel to her until Kim came into the picture. Her training helped Ivy grow into a more confident, relaxed version of herself, and now our walks are a breeze and interactions with other dogs feel easy and joyful. Kim also helped us reset the hierarchy in our home in a way that made sense — not harsh, just clear. Ivy now understands that we’re in charge, and because of that, she trusts us more deeply. Our previous experience with dog training was meeting as a group with other dog owners at the facility location each week. When we rescued our present dog, we decided we needed a different training path. Seeing all the great reviews on Google and on Nextdoor, we decided to work with Kim @ Quality Canines. BEST DECISION EVER! Not only did we receive one to one instruction, but every fearful, unruly, stubborn etc. behavior our 2 year old came to us with, Kim patiently taught us methods to gain the respectful, loving, playful, and HAPPY pup we now have. We had the basics covered in training, but we were so appreciative of the flexibility she provided to work on additional areas that we were challenged with. She was always prompt to respond, and quick with a training method that worked seamlessly. We also loved the varying training locations (parks, forest preserves) where we could have exposure to other dogs and situations outside the home. These experiences really helped us to gain confidence in what we were learning and applying. Our dog loved these sessions the most! I absolutely recommend Kim to anyone looking for dog training (from puppy to senior). She really understands how dogs think and behave. We are so grateful to her for all her help. Thanks Kim!

Kim is the BEST! We would recommend her to anyone with a pup at any stage. She was and still is a huge help with our soft coated wheaten terrier. Not only did she help with training our new baby but she also trained US! She is truly an expert in her field. She picks up on the dog’s cues and then tailors her training to your needs as well as your pup’s. She’s always accessible to answer questions even after the sessions are complete, which is amazingly helpful. She’s always on time for training and very patient with dogs and their humans. Kim also hosts additional group training sessions and dog parties where the pups have a chance to learn as well as socialize. It is truly a relationship that lasts long beyond the one on one training! Our pup loves Auntie Kim and we do too!

Kim was wonderful to work with. She is compassionate, knowledgeable, and clearly loves her job. Our new puppy responded so well to her, and we saw real improvements right away. What I appreciated most is that she also helped us learn how to train and communicate better with our puppy. Plus, she has a great sense of humor, which made the whole process fun.
