Quality K-9s German Shepherds

Just over a year and a half ago I purchased a female GS pup from Marty, who came highly recommended. From the moment picking up my girl I knew I had a great pup. What I didn't realize was I had also made a new buddy in Marty Metzner, who I am honored to call my friend. Though I've been around and owned dogs all my life, Shelby was my first GS, so quite naturally I was, and still am, full of questions. No exaggeration Marty and I easily visit twice/three times a week, usually me reaching out to him, hungry for more of his extensive knowledge. He has always been quick to respond, morning/noon or night, and has a lifetime of experience and advice, all of which I count on to be quite accurate. My now 18 month old female, Shelby, is an absolute joy, knows all common commands and a few entertaining ones, goes everywhere with me receiving constant compliments on how beautiful and well behaved she is all the while carrying herself like a 5 year old. Marty has been at German Shepard's for a long time has a very down to earth approach, which he applies to his breeding and training program, and without question knows his stuff. You cannot go wrong investing in a pup/dog or having your personal dog train with Marty Metzner.

I learned of Quality K-9s about 3 years ago and was determined to get a pup from Marty’s amazing program. Due to relocation, the timing wasn’t ideal to adopt a new puppy. Marty, kept me in the loop about each litter; each so special and highly anticipated due to how infrequently he has a litter available. Marty is truly passionate about the quality of his pups and it shows. His program produces pups that are healthy, confident, strong, intelligent and eager to learn. My family and I purchased two puppies from Marty last weekend and I am blown away at how they have adjusted to their forever home. These pups are perfect and I am not saying this because they are mine. Their temperaments are calm. At 8 weeks, they are a breeze to potty and crate train. They love car rides and long road trips as we learned on adoption day. They sleep through the night and are simply a joy to have in our lives. Marty is super responsive, shares knowledge about the breed and his wealth of knowledge and expertise willingly. Working with him has been an awesome experience and I will gladly recommend Quality K-9s!
