Do you use shock treatment? Do you use only positive techniques?
We are a balanced professional training company. This means we start with positive reinforcement (treats) and progress with the least amount of pressure to achieve the desired response. Because we train all dogs from brand new puppies all the way up to full grown dogs with aggression-there are instances where E-collars are not only appropriate but a needed tool for communication. Our end goal is always healthy communication and safely reconnecting pups with their families.

We contacted Quality K9 Concepts because our Border Collie was becoming aggressive with visitors. It had advanced from overly reactive herding behavior towards children and our horses to barking, lunging, and nipping at anyone on our property. We sent him to advance board and train with CJ and are beyond pleased with the results! The training techniques are simple, clear, and concise. I really appreciated the honesty in the evaluation and the time spent to build the confidence of friend's son that was fearful of our dog. Its one thing to explain the technique but, quite another to take the time to make sure everyone that may interact with him feels safe!
CJ did a great job handling and training my 20 month old large breed dog. I am pleased with the results from the three week board-and-train. He worked with our dog daily and we were promptly kept updated throughout the process. Would recommend this trainer and company to anyone!

Before working with Josh and Dana, Thor would jump and scratch people, chew EVERYTHING( even ate a whole in the wall), he would pull so hard when trying to walk him that our kids could not take him on a walk. After training with Josh and Dana it is like he is a brand new pup! He listens and is so well mannered. Yesterday was his first 4th of July and it was so great to be able to have Thor outside with us for our cookout and enjoy the holiday together. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend both Quality K9 and Josh and Dana. We are so thankful for the help they provided us, and the love and care they had for our baby.
