Queen City K9

Working with Addie of Queen City K9 was one of the best decisions I made for my dog. The training was completely personalized and tailored to my dog's personality and my goals. My biggest priorities were loose leash walking and building a reliable recall, and the improvement has been amazing. Walks are so much more enjoyable now! What I appreciated most was learning skills that I can continue using every day. The training wasn't just about quick results—it gave me the tools to keep building good habits for life. Addie was so incredibly helpful during the first 6-8 weeks of having our Bernese Mountain Dog puppy home. We did weekly sessions as part of the puppy package where we practiced and learned commands (which was equal parts us learning the proper way to give the command and our dog learning it!) Addie also gave us tips for safe socialization like introducing our puppy to new surfaces. Each week she gave us confidence that we were making progress with him even though we struggled at times (as all new puppy owners do). I’d highly recommend incorporating Addie’s training into anyone’s plans for bringing a new puppy home to help develop the basic foundational pieces that are key in your dog’s development.

We had the best experience with Addie through Queen City K9! She was so patient and kind with our dog Romy and helped her learn to sit, lay down, go to her “place,” and walk on a leash without pulling. We saw results so quickly, and Romy seemed to really love her sessions! You can tell Addie truly loves what she does and cares about the dogs and people she works with. Romy learned so much, and walks are finally enjoyable for us. We’re so grateful for Addie and highly recommend Queen City K9!
