Raise the Woof Dog Training is amazing! I am so thankful to Malia for working with me and my dog, Harry. Malia is patient, kind, understanding, and is always available to answer questions or walk you through any issue that arises while working with your dog. I felt very overwhelmed with Harry’s issues prior to contacting Raise The Woof Dog Training, but Malia has helped to make Harry’s quality of life better and has taught me so much about dog behavior. She has also given me tools so that my situation is much more manageable. I would highly recommend Raise the Woof Dog Training and Malia to any dog owner!

I've worked with Malia for a few years as a 'dog trainer' but she's so much more than that. Yes she has helped with training my rambunctious rescue terrier mix, and helped integrate him into a home with an older sibling dog (who wasn't thrilled about him), but that is only part of the story. She is an advocate and friend to every client she works with. She genuinely cares about me and my dogs. Not only regarding their behaviour, but how it effects me. She's talked me through some rough times with them and has ALWAYS been available in emergencies, even if it's just a reassuring text or an informative phone call. I consider her part of my 'wellness practice' as she helps me when I'm feeling anxious or overwhelmed as the sole caretaker of a senior dog with health issues and a young, anxiety ridden rescue with emotional issues. She makes me feel less alone with them and in good hands. She helps me navigate their health issues and put plans in place to optimize their (and my) situations. Malia is solid gold. Given the opportunity, I would never use any other trainer. If you are reading this, consider yourself lucky to know about this wonderful, empathetic, warm (but firm when she needs to be) human being.
