Bobby was a wonderful instructor, we highly recommend his classes. Positive reinforcement is truly the only way one should go about training their dog and he makes it so easy to do with step by step instructions. From paper handouts to past experiences, verbal cues and demonstrations not only has our pup Freyja learned a lot, but my partner and I have gained so much knowledge in a six week course. I have to say, Freyja was the most reactive dog in the class, it was so embarrassing and frustrating.. and all I wanted was for her to be a social dog with other people and other pups but unfortunately that is not who she is, and I learned to say ‘that’s okay’. However, Bobby was very patient and understanding of our situation and allowed us to continue coming to classes. He not only taught us how to communicate with our dog, run through the basic commands and have her respect us but he also helped us work with Freyja in these ‘reactive’ situations. I couldn’t have been more pleased with the service he provided to us and we will continue working with our pup daily using his techniques. He truly is the best! Both Lyca and I learned how to communicate with each other through positive reinforcement. She is very stubborn but with repetition and rewards she has learned all the basic commands. Bobby, the trainer, is an outstanding dog trainer and great person. Our dog, Sofia, was a terror on the first appointment. Both of us did not think she workable. He made many suggestions, worked with us, and have to see we have immediately seen terrific results. Sofia graduated last night (he even gave her a diploma and grad hat). We would absolutely recommend New Leash on Life and Bobby (the owner and trainer)! Do yourself and you dog a favor and call him.
