Alpha K-9 training is top notch! Student: 3yo Weimaraner, female, spayed, rescued at 1.5yro Opportunities: leash skills, boundaries, anxiety, dog-dog aggression Plan: Kind, consistent, caring, firm and fair intensive board and train. Mid-point Results: The results were already visible and amazing at the mid-point visit. I was stunned, happy and truly hopeful for the Piper to emerge as a result of training. Final Results: After graduating the program, Piper IS a different dog – she is calm, understands walks on the leash, essential commands, and actually enjoys her walks now! I can't possibly thank the Alpha K9 team enough for their help with my rambunctious little dog Milo. Not only is the team very professional, but they are truly some of the kindest and trusting people I've met. As a nervous dog mom, I was apprehensive of dropping my dog off for a 4-week course, but after meeting Randy and team my heart was at ease. They looked after him as well as I could and the time and effort spent on mitigating his behavioral issues is invaluable. The differences in Milo's behavior was really night and day. He was incredible calm and as Randy puts it "a dog you want to live with." Randy and team spent a lot of time with us ensuring that mom and dad were prepared to continue reinforcing Milo's good habits at home. Their methods are sound and are easy to implement at home where there's distractions and other priorities. It's been a month since we picked up Milo and I'm proud to say that he's doing really well. It's been such a journey to learn how to better communicate with him and reinforce good habits at home so we can all live stress-free. I would highly recommend Alpha K9 to anyone with a dog that could use some behavioral brushing up, it's just worth it.

It has been over six weeks since we picked our girl from Randy and she is still going strong, When we dropped her off, we had a full tour of the facility. Randy spent time answering our questions and getting to know all of us. It was clear that he has a love and a passion for dogs - this isn’t just a job! Our dog took to him right away and and we felt comfortable leaving her with him. (We had taken her to another board and train a year before and brought home a traumatized dog - so being comfortable leaving her there was important to me) They sent us videos and welcomed my calls while she was there. We had a short visit halfway through and when it was time to say goodbye, our pup went willingly back to her kennel. When we went to pick her up, Randy spent time talking to me and training me before he worked with the two of us together. For me, it involved learning some new ways of interacting with my dog and he was patient, with a sense of humor. We have been back once for a refresher and will likely see Randy again as needed. We made an investment in our dog and he is committed to be invested in us moving forward. I highly recommend Alpha Canine Training Center.

I would recommended alpha k-9 to anyone who needs help with their dogs obedience skills. We took our 10 month olds Great Dane/pit mix to Randy because we were at the end our our experience with dog training and he still needed a lot of help. When we took our boy into alpha k9 he couldn’t walk on a leash without dragging us around, sit and stay without getting distracted, and was just over all too much energy without any discipline. Randy was very responsive and listened to all our concerns about leaving our pup for 4 weeks. He answered all our questions and remained I contact with us the whole time. The facility was very clean and well cared for. We felt very comfortable knowing our boy was there with Randy and had minimal worries while he was gone. He came back with many new skills that we have continued to work on at home. He continually improves as he gets older and with the tools Randy gave us to keep working with him. We are a much happier family and he is a much happier pup.
