Rascal Training & Boarding

We had our standard poodle, Price, work with Zoe for her board and train program. Although he has always been smart, funny and cuddly, he was also strong willed, anxious and disobedient. In spite of previous training, he would pretty much take us for a walk, would only listen when he felt like it, would eat food off the counter and jump and run on the couch, mowing over all in his path. As much as we loved him, it was terrible. Within days of working with Zoe, he was walking perfectly, waited and sat or laid down until released, and had the manners and obedience of an entirely different dog. It was miraculous. He kept his warm nature, sense of humor and playful nature, however, as Zoe treats the dogs as if they were her own and creates a warm, loving and safe environment for them. The best part is how she trained us and Price has retained all of his incredible training and is truly a delight. We tell him to “go to bed” and he climbs into his bed and stays. We walk him and he is beautifully behaved and sits and holds when asked anytime any place. We cannot recommend Zoe enough. She has changed our lives and we have the dog of our dreams. We even have her do remote training for our other dogs and we are considering sending them to her board and train program, even though we have relocated to the Bay Area. Thank you, Zoe for the best gift!

One of the things Zoe appreciates is a committed owner. If you are struggling with your dog, are ready for improvement in your pet/owner relationship and willing to put in the work -- Zoe will be your biggest champion. She has helped my relationship with my pittie and even though things are not perfect, they are heading in the right direction. He is focused and engaged during our walks, there is no yanking or pulling. He comes to me when I call his name! He's much more calm and I think that has been the biggest revelation for me. I didn't know or understand he was suffering from anxiety until Zoe told me. Everyday we work on mind work and focusing his energy in positive ways to prevent negative outcomes of being overstimulated and anxious. I'm so glad I found Zoe, she was the right trainer for Deagle and I. I cannot stress how much better things are now with improvement in communication between my dog and I.

Zoe is pretty amazing! We rescued this cute little lady from a shelter in Texas! Mara was scared of her leash and wouldn’t walk period, and if she passed by another dog she would bark and act out! Our first appt with Zoe was leash training. We went on a walk with Mara and Zoe showed my husband and I tips and tricks along with training on how to properly walk a dog! When I asked her about what type of leash to buy, she explained about different leashes and why she likes/dislikes in detail. After a few weeks of following Zoe’s direction Mara loves to walk and hike! A few weeks later Mara spent a week with Zoe working on socialization as well as other training. She sent daily pictures and videos so we could see the progress she was making! We now have a well rounded that loves walks and playing and having fun with other dogs! Thank you Zoe! Erik & Heather

Zoe is great to work with and extremely knowledgeable. She loves working with dogs and most of all helping dog parents understand how to bring out the best in our pets in a positive way. She has really helped me with my 5 year-old rescue, Jack, who is smart but very strong-willed and stubborn.
