Just took my 2-year old pup through rattlesnake aversion training with Mike, and I can't say enough good things about his approach and program. I had a lot of angst about doing this because I worried that my dog might be traumatized, but after two trail encounters this spring I decided it would possibly save her life. Mike's approach is so gentle, dog-centered, and respectful, I can't think of a single thing that could make this training a better experience for my dog or more effective. I am completely confident that she would never knowingly get near a rattler now, but she loved Mike and she clearly is terrified of snakes now but not at all traumatized by anything else about the experience. His program is terrific and I'm so thankful he does this.
He was very intentional with every step of the process and did a great job educating us of why he’s doing each step. It’s clear this is much more than quick exposure/shock therapy. He took the time needed with each dog to make sure he felt confident before we left. Definitely worth the money!
The instructor is super knowledgeable and trains your puppy's well not to get bitten in the future
