RCM Dog Training

Recommended by a neighbor and his perfectly behaved dog, we called Rob to help us with our Bernese Mountain Dog pup. Moose was just shy of a year old and over 100 lbs already when we started working with Rob. After a traumatic neuter experience and him being cooped up recovering for a month, Moose started taking his frustrations out me as I stayed home to care for him. It was just becoming too hard to navigate on my own. Rob came to the rescue almost immediately. The first session was tough (Moose was nervous and uncomfortable ) but by our 2nd session, it was like night and day. More importantly, because of Rob’s knowledge and patience, things started making more sense to me and consistency is key here. He wasn’t here to train Moose - he was teaching me how to build a strong relationship with my dog. We just completed 5 sessions and we are very pleased. We feel more in control now and have the tools to continue to work on our relationship with our growing pup. My dog is a JOY to take on walks now- I’m so happy. Thank you Rob!

Our dog was well behaved about 95% of the time, but would sometimes have sudden and strong reactions to certain dogs or strangers. We were not sure how 3 or 4 home training sessions would help with these issues but went ahead and gave it a shot. Rob was the perfect trainer for all of us....2 legged and 4 legged. Although Dyson knew and responded to most of our commands, Rob showed us how having better consistency and clearer expectations carried over from day-to-day behavior to the sudden and unexpected reactions we were trying to control...well, eliminate. Dyson is now the neighborhood poster dog for good behavior and self-control, even when confronted with his nemesis that charged him when he was a pup, and which he's never forgotten. We've gotten comments from other dog owners and questions about our magic formula. Our response is "A Trainer. Rob."
