My wife and I were referred to Lance from both my sister and close friend who had great experiences training their dogs with him. For instance my sisters lab can hold a “place “for over an hour. So we drove 16hrs from Chicago to spend 2 weeks training with Lance. We have had well trained Rotties in the past but Lance’s training is next level. He is at the top of his game and you learn all of the nuances necessary to have a well trained dog. Overall, great investment and enjoyable experience. -Tom and Karen Richards

Very thankful for Lance and his training. He has been so patient with our high energy dog. I was to the point where I could not walk our dog as he would just pull on his leash. Now, we can go on family walks together again. Our Bucky was also a counter surfer but that habit has all but vanished as well. Both the private and the group lessons are helpful and Lance has turned dog training into an actually enjoyable experience. Highly recommend.

There aren’t enough stars! Lance is amazing! Not only does his program work, he makes training fun and accessible. When I got my standard poodle, I knew I needed to start off with strong training right away. A bored puppy is a destructive puppy! With Lance’s guidance, patience, and (most importantly) sense of humor, we got my poodle sitting, staying, and walking without tugging at 3 months! When I walked my pup at Wash Park, people were shocked! I just can’t say enough about how great Lance is! He’s a real dog whisperer! Highly recommend!!

Hands down, Lance is the best dog trainer in Denver. I got my first dog (a rowdy doodle) in 2018. I spent lots of money on trainers and programs but I still didn’t feel in control of my dog, I couldn’t trust him to listen at busy parks, and I couldn’t imagine a world where he could ever be off leash. However, once I started working with Lance, we were quickly able to gain the skills necessary to live the life I wanted to with my dog. My dog is now the best listener, fully trustworthy, and his recall is so incredible that we can hike off leash and even walk through busy streets off leash. Earlier this year I adopted a rescue pup who is very independent and I was nervous that he would run off if he ever got off leash. We started Lance’s training program in August and now I trust my dog to listen around distractions. Since completing his training, I’ve able to successfully take my dog hiking off leash where he listens the entire time! I’m very grateful that Lance is so incredible with dogs and people and has enabled me to live the life I want with my two dogs.

We love Lance! We have two dogs, a golden retriever and an Aussie. He worked wonders with both. Our Aussie has always had trouble walking nicely on a leash and we’ve tried about 6 different trainers and many methods all with no success. Lance got her walking perfectly in just one lesson and gave us tips to keep it up. Our golden is service dog material now! Lance was wonderful working with my 11 year old daughter, she was the one who did the majority of the training with our golden retriever. She’s now taking it a step farther and doing agility competitions with her dog. Both dogs go everywhere, paddleboarding, hiking, and are great both off leash and on. If you put in the work, Lance can help you get the results you want. Lance truly speaks dog and is great at training their humans too.
