We train pets and working dogs here. We are a family of dog trainers, led by Jody Johnson, certified and licensed trainer. Your dog lives with us during most training programs we offer. We also offer private session packages. We work with all breeds to solve obedience and behavioral issues. We also offer training and sales of executive protection dogs, as well as service dogs. In addition, we train scent detection and tracking dogs. One of our stand-out benefits is we spend the time to teach you how to maintain the training and even further it. We work for you!

I have used Real Life K9 since we got our dog. He went through obedience training with them and done so well. Since then they have always been available anytime I had questions or concerns about his training. We have also used their services for boarding and grooming and a pleased with how flexible they are. Even in short notice situations they have been very accommodating and are able to help regardless of the situation. Diesel loves all the staff and looks forward to his visits with them. Rose and Jody are the best when it comes to dog training and helping owners learn their dogs. Will definitely be a returning customer for years to come!

We were nervous because she picked up training great, but the stubbornness was next level.
Immediately noticed a difference in her from day one we picked her up. Leash walking is a pleasure now, and she responds to positively to commands and corrections.
We have continued to train at home consistently.Fast forward two months, later, we took her to Bass Pro Shop which honestly was the first time she has gone to a store since picking her up. We got so many compliments on how well behaved she was and even got a picture with Santa!
We are excited to have Stormy continue the next part of her training with them! So grateful for Rose and Jodi and the whole Real Life K9 team!

What a wonderful family dog training business. They communicate well with you while your dog is training an after if needed. These people aren’t just trainers! They love the pups they train. I’ve taken 2 dogs to them. One of them had some aggression issues probably due to fear, and they completely helped him become a loving & trusting dog. We board our dogs with them when we travel too. If you’re looking for a trainer, look no further!

My dogs are my babies, the loves of my life. My adult adopted dog has put me through some trauma so I do not trust my dogs with just anyone. When I got my puppy miniature poodle I immediately looked up dog trainers near me and came across real life k9. My initial plan was to start his training at 16 weeks but I became so overwhelmed that real life k9 stepped in and started initial training to help me out. When it came time for his second round of training I had no worries when dropping him off because I knew he was in good hands which was nice for a change. I picked up a smart and happy puppy. They also do dog boarding which I plan on utilizing when needed which if you know me and how I am with my dogs that is all you would need to know to trust them with your dog as well.
