We adopted our dog Murphy, a Great Pyrenees/Lab mix, a few months ago after he had graduated from the Paws in Prison program. We were grateful for the care and training that he had received, but realized that he had some issues adjusting to the “free” world and that we needed assistance in controlling him during walks and preventing or at least curtailing him from barking at strangers. I conducted a search for dog training online and found Jaime’s personalized, positive reinforcement approach to be quite appealing. I found her to be a knowledgeable and caring person after speaking with her by phone and she recommended that we obtain a different dog leash that made a dramatic difference in controlling Murphy during walks even before we met with her. Despite our inclination to treats our dogs like Kings and Queens, she impressed on us to let Murphy know that we’re the boss and we’ve had positive results after implementing her recommendations. We highly recommend Jaime as a dog trainer and have appreciated her following up to check on Murphy’s status.
What a huge help from day 1. Jamie is very down to earth and has a great method to puppy madness. Just following the tips I learned day 1 has changed not only my pups behavior but, improved my day to day life. Highly recommend Jamie to any dog owner wanting a better human/dog relationship.
