FirstBarkNick helped me specifically address leash reactivity on walks. In one session I learned how to properly address training my blue heeler to sit and let dogs pass by us. He explained the why and how to do as a dog owner I could understand how the training was working. We couldn’t be happier with choosing Nick to help our little dachshund, Gus. Poor Gus was a Covid dog so he missed some critical milestones of socialization with people and dogs when he was young. This resulted in a very scared, skiddish, and reactive weenie. If a blade of grass touched his foot the wrong way, there were screams, so you can imagine the noises made when he saw other dogs. After two weeks training with Nick, Gus has found his confidence, and can follow all the commands like heel, sit, and stay - even with huge dogs or people walking by him - without a single bark. I’m still amazed at the progress Gus made. Nick’s work with Gus was incredible, and we’re so grateful!
I had a great experience with Red and Blue Dog Training. Nick was awesome with my hound, Jacky. He really knows his stuff and helped Jacky behave so much better. Our walks are now way more fun, and Jacky seems a lot happier. Highly recommend Nick if you need some training help!

He was patient and knowledgeable, tailoring the training to Jax's personality and our specific needs. Nick taught us effective ways to channel Jax's energy and natural instincts. Now our walks are much more enjoyable, and Jax's recall as well as listening have improved dramatically. I'm impressed by how quickly Jax picked up new commands and behaviors. What I appreciated most was Nick's emphasis on building a stronger bond between Jax and our family. The training wasn't just about obedience, but about communication and mutual understanding. It was life changing. He took the time to answer all my questions and work around my families schedule so we all had training together. My family is so grateful to Nick and Red and Blue Dog Training. In my home we refer to him as Saint Nick! My Jackson is now able to be off leash and I have 100% confidence everyone is safe and he will respond to commands. Thank you again Nick!
