Red Beard’s Enrichment Program exceeds all expectations! Our 3 yr old Yorkie rescue, who was a mess, has grown in confidence, self control, socialization with dogs and people, and he thrives on the physical and mental challenges inherent in the Program. The wisdom, respect and kindness shown to each dog should be a model for all people who “train” dogs and for all owners who hope to have a great relationship with their pups.

Gizmo, our 3 year old Boston Terrier, has been going to Redbeard Dog Training and Enrichment Program for about a year now. Brad and his team ensure that the dogs in their care are provided both physical and mental challenges each day. They create a wonderful balance of intention and fun where the dogs have an opportunity to learn new skills and build confidence in a relaxed, and structured environment. Red beard's puppy class is absolutely world class. Their approach to puppy training is very easy to follow and understand. I loved that the first half of the class was supervised socialization so your puppy can be a great pack member! The classes are also on the smaller side so you get a lot of one on one with the trainers. Another of my favorite things about the team here is that they are very helpful with training problems your particular pup is having, having that very personalized help in a puppy class was very refreshing to see. The techniques are extremely helpful and rooted in what is obviously a very long experience and knowledge from the team. I cannot recommend Red Beard enough for puppy training, it is light years ahead of the typical puppy class. You also get a discounted enrichment day after completing the puppy class!!

Amazing puppy class. We rescued a very smart, stubborn little terrier mix puppy who came with some fears and bad habits, and she is now on her way to becoming a really great dog thanks to the socialization, and a lot of great tips we took away from class to practice at home. The first half of the class is puppy social time, which our puppy absolutely loved. It helped her learn how to be around other dogs, and got her energy out, so she could focus better on the "school" portion during the second half. This class is relaxed, but very practical. Now that she has graduated, she is doing much better on a leash and out in public, and seems so much better adjusted than when she first came to us. And let's face it, getting to hang out with a group of puppies once a week is the best thing ever for the humans too. We will definitely be signing our pup up for the Enrichment class as soon as she hits the six month mark.
