I have worked with Louise, from Red Pointy Dog Training for several years with several of my dogs. I have found her positive, up to date, clear, personalized instruction invaluable. My dogs are often shy but are always happy to see her arrive at the home. She is professional, and open minded with her individualized training instructions. She works within what is reasonable for my family to succeed. She works hard to schedule around my needs, is always on time, respectful and provides timely follow up and written instructions I have referred several of my friends to her service and they have had a similar experience. I would highly recommend Red Pointy Dog Training! My miniature schnauzer, Tucker, and I loved working with our trainer, Jake! We completed the 15 session training package and my pup and I really got a ton of helpful information to make me be a better pet owner and my pup an even better dog. My miniature schnauzer was having anxiety when people visited our house, or when we met up with new people or dogs while walking on our street. Jake came to our house and taught me many different strategies to help Tucker get over his anxiety and now I don't worry about having visitors, or walking on our street. Tucker is a lot more relaxed, which makes me a lot more comfortable. Tucker and I are so thankful for Red Pointy Dog Training and our trainer Jake!!

Our dog Chief was a rescue from North Carolina; we didn't know until a few months after adopting him that he developed severe separation anxiety. When left alone, he would tear apart our house; window sills were destroyed, door frames were ripped off, he would chew through the side panels on our window ACs and jump outside. We started working with Louise to curb his anxiety. She let us know it would be a long road, but she was by our side the entire time. She was amazing, both as a trainer for our pup but also as a coach for my fiance and I! Whenever we felt discouraged about Chief's progress, she would remind us of how far he had come, and how far WE had come! Today, Chief is able to stay home alone where he remains calm, hangs out, and sometimes naps until we come home. We can't thank RPDT enough for their help!
