We only offer private lessons, and boot camp programs. We do not conduct classes.

Thanks to the Red Star team for training our family on how to help our canine kid stay on her best behavior. My only regret is that I wish we would have signed up for bootcamp sooner.
We did a private lesson here, it was a complete game changer!! I was so impressed! The skills she taught us turned our reactive dog's behavior around. We have seen a dramatic difference. I would highly recommend for training and behavioral problems ❤️ We are forever grateful for her help!!
Our go to kennel. Everything is just as you would expect. Clean , well maintained, and spacious. Dogs are able to socialize and the staff is meticulous in keeping notes on behaviors. We had a Chou mix that was aggressive towards 90% of other canines but she was able to board here. When our German Spitz had a UTI it was noticed, we were called and everything was noted in her file. You can't wrong here.

Prior to taking my standard schnauzer Archer to Red Star, I took him to puppy and obedience classes at another facility. I worked with him daily and he did really well when we were home but as soon as we stepped out the door he turned into an ADHD tornado. He also had fear aggression issues and would lung at other dogs on walks as well as barking incessantly when he was in the yard and saw another dog. I did some research, found Red Star Kennel, and scheduled a private lesson with Mark. He pointed out what I was doing right, helped me understand what I was doing wrong, and gave me some exercises to help work through the issues I was having with Archer. He also explained the reasoning behind everything he was teaching me which really helped put things into perspective. I also signed Archer up for boot camp at Red Star to help smooth out the rough edges and hone the skills he knew. I thought I did a decent job training Archer on my own but the boot camp took it to a completely different level. Archer was much more attentive and confidant and his recall was outstanding. If he sees a squirrel and starts running toward it, I can call his name once and he immediately turns around, runs back to me, and heels at my side. When we’re hanging out in the yard and a person or another dog walks by, he'll look at them (without barking!!) but then his attention is right back on me. Mark is such a sincere and knowledgeable person and you can feel the passion he has for training within minutes of meeting him. The experience I’ve had with Red Star has been nothing short of exceptional and I wouldn’t hesitate recommending them.
