Red Woof Canine Training Center and Boarding

Incredibly disappointed with our first stay at this facility. I filled out all of the paperwork in advance with specifics for each dog. I even called to schedule a trial day and was told they don’t do trial days but I could pay for the day of daycare. Upon check in I reminded them that my older dog is food aggressive, and will try to eat the younger dogs food if unsupervised, so they might need to be separated for meals. and that my older dog does not like puppies in his face. He tends “ To be grumpy when puppies try to play in his face.” He is almost 9, this should not be a surprise. But I reminded them that both dogs love to play and are well socialized. Eight days later at pick up, I learned that both dogs had been red marked and deemed aggressive so were not included in playgroups and were left in solitary during their eight day stay. I was devastated. Neither of my dogs are aggressive towards other dogs. They thrive on play and interaction. That was the main reason I booked with red woof. They also reeked. I’m a registered nurse and can deal with strong smells, but both of my dogs had a stench that I had never smelled before. Two days later, my car still stinks of them. My younger dog has also been ravenous for his meals since our boarding, as if he didn’t eat for days. My younger dog hates eating, and most meals are a struggle so it’s very telling to me that he didn’t eat during his stay there. The staff members were apologetic, but didn’t really seem to care. I’m furious that I’m paying almost $400 for my dogs to be left in a concrete room for 8 days with little to no interaction. My dogs love to play with other dogs and are very well exercised. We are at the fetch park downtown at least 5 days a week. I’m not sure why, but it seems like my dogs were mistreated at the facility and they are still trying to recover. I do not recommend this facility for boarding and we will not be returning. Adding photos of my older dog chewing his tail raw since boarding with them and finding feces on the bottom of a food container that was left with them for 8 days. This is disgusting and impressively unsanitary.

$95 for 3 days, two nights, and way out in Harris County. My 8lb. dog came back soooo hungry when I picked her up, yet workers told me she ate all of the food (I provided way more than she could possibly have eaten). Also, was such a hassle to pay as they say they only accept certain payment methods, yet all workers, depending on the day, tell you something different. Additionally, I was told they would answer their phone/ provide updates on its FB page, etc. that never happened. Unless you want to overpay and be so worried about your babies, do not go here.

Red Woof has been a game-changer for our family. The dedication to cleanliness here is top-notch, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment. Despite the long drive for us, it's absolutely worth it. The peace of mind knowing our babies are not only safe but also happy is priceless. In a nutshell, Red Woof is the best. Impeccable cleanliness, heartfelt care, and happy pets are their trademarks. We're impressed and extremely grateful for what they do for our fur babies. They're a true home away from home for our pups!

I took my five fully vaccinated dogs there for one overnight stay for $70. Within one week, two dogs started with kennel cough. Owner brought up the issue of kennel cough during our drop off saying that the facility wasn't responsible if any of the dogs got kennel cough, stating to me that kennel cough is obtained from stress. This made me very suspicious so we checked the dogs out of the facility the next morning. A week later and I have bills for vet visits, antibiotics, coughing, etc. Boarding pera is always so risky.
