Redefined Dog Training

This is only a review for their rattlesnake aversion classes. I have to say, I was a bit disappointed in this particular company that taught the class. You don’t get to be with your dog when they go through the course. I’ve NEVER heard of that before. The reason they gave for that did not make any sense to me. You sit in a room for two hours and watch a power point presentation of rattlesnakes. After the class, I asked if I could walk my dog back out where the snakes were and they told me no, and that it would stress out my dog. Um, in that case, I should never take my dog hiking because there are rattlesnakes up in the hills! Is that going to stress out my dog? I wanted to see for myself (not from some video on a cell phone) how my dog would react to hearing or seeing the snakes. I paid $125 and they wouldn’t even let me do that. Plus, these people don’t even know who Web Parton is. He was the original creator of rattlesnake aversion classes. He retired a few years back, but c’mon, you’d think they’d at least know who he is. I just don’t trust a company that doesn’t let me see for myself what my dog has learned.
