Rescue Dogs Training

Just like many dog loving families when we came across the posting for 6 week old blue nose pitbulls at a great price we could not help our selves and jump at the opportunity of expanding our family by one! Fast forward 5 months and you quickly realize even though you show love and affection and try to implement certain rules, end of the day most of us average Joes don’t know what the heck is going on lol. My wife begging me to find a solution to get help just not for our pitbull puppy but also for our babygirl Shitzu who we thought them two getting along would never happen! After contacting Megan for the first time you can just hear the excitement and passion for what she does, my wife and I became extremely hopeful that we had someone who can help us smooth things at home for our family . Soon as we met Megan she wasted NO Time in diagnosing the errors on our end but in a friendly manner assuring us we can make this right . Just after one session and implementing the tips and tricks for training we saw results in our puppy behavior just in one day. The work is far from over but please assure WE WIL L ONLY COUNT ON MEGAN to get us through!! If I could give 10 stars I would!!

I’ve worked with Megan for three sessions so far, and both my 4 year old rescue dog and I have already learned so much. From day one, Megan helped me start establishing myself as a confident, consistent leader, and I saw a difference in my dog right away. Watching Megan work with her has given me real hope that the challenges we’re facing can be overcome. Megan has been wonderful with our two 7 month old German shepherds! After just a couple of sessions she has taught us and the pups so much that we could visibly see the difference. One of our main concerns was having people over and our dogs reacting aggressive. Just finished our Fourth session and Megan had her helper come to the door and enter our home. Megan walked us through how to handle the dogs with having guests. I was so amazed how well the dogs did! She has made my husband and I so much more confident and comfortable with having these dogs. Megan is like magic! We are scheduled for more session with Megan and We can’t wait to see how awesome these pups can be! Thank you Megan!

I can’t say enough good things about Megan. I’ve been working with her to train my shelter dog and VERY stubborn mastiff, Daisy, and the progress we’ve made has been incredible. Megan is fun to work with, knowledgeable, and truly understands how to work with dogs of all backgrounds and temperaments. Daisy came with some behavioral challenges as a stray, and can be particularly strong-willed, but Megan made progress with her on day one. She provided clear guidance, practical techniques, and the confidence I needed to reinforce training at home. Her positive and balanced training methods have helped build trust, structure, and better communication between me and Daisy. If you’re looking for a skilled and compassionate trainer who truly cares about both dogs and their owners, I highly recommend Megan!

Best Dog trainer in all of Albuquerque and even New Mexico! A lot of other dog trainers in the valley just watch a couple youtube videos and do what they see online whereas Megan actually uses facts and relies on the dogs instincts but has a training that works! She has trained with both of my dogs, (6 years of age, and a puppy) Both are the most obedient dogs in the valley now. Wouldn't recommend anyone else, especially having used other dog trainers. No one holds a candle to Megan!
