I 100% recommend K9 Resolutions!! A 30 day board and train with Mike was by far the best decision I have made for my dog. I did not socialize him enough as a puppy and he had really bad anxiety in social situations. He was reactive and had to have a muzzle on him at the vet. I wasn’t sure how to proceed and I felt bad for my dog. I wanted him to feel safe and confident. I was nervous to leave Finley with a stranger but I had absolutely nothing to worry about. The next time I saw him he was a a different dog. We met in a store and Finley wasn’t nervous, in fact he was very content and enjoyed it. He also loves Mike! You can see it in the videos he sent me. Another thing I am beyond grateful for is the tools he has given me. Not only did he train my dog but he helped me be a better handler so Finley can continue to be successful.

If you’re wondering whether a 30-day board-and-train with Mike is worth it, I can assure you that it is. I dropped off a chaotic woodland goblin and picked up a civilized citizen who now acts like he pays taxes. He went in acting like he was the CEO of Bad Decisions, and Mike somehow convinced him he is, in fact, not in charge of the universe. Calvin went in with three goals: ignore every command, selectively pretend to be deaf, and drag me through life like an unpaid sled dog. Mike apparently took that personally. Not only did he teach my hound manners, he somehow convinced him that listening is cool. I don’t know what kind of sorcery that is, but I support it. Calvin left me for a month and came back with better life skills than I have. He sits. He walks nicely. He was very reactive to people and dogs before going in and he now ignores everyone when we are out and about. He even checks in with me like he cares about my opinion. If your pup is a lovable hot mess with the attention span of a squirrel and the stubbornness of a brick wall, let Mike work his magic. Calvin is so obsessed with Mike that he forgets I exist when we go back for group training. Five stars.

Mike took our anxious tornado of a St. Bernard "puppy" (A 100lb tornado is alot) for a month of training. We just got her back and its a night and day difference for us. She listens to us now. Not only was she trained well but Mike also spends 1-on-1 time with us and her during the experience. Our training has been at least as important (if not more) as hers. Can say enough good things. He also has a weekly group training he runs on Saturdays to help keep reinforcing good behaviors for all of us which we intend to keep going to. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Mike from Resolutions K9 Training Center has brought peace to our house. Zeus and Valentine are 2 yo Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. When we first met Mike they were both reactive to dogs and people to the point no one could come onto the property without the dogs being put away. There was constant fear that someone would be bitten. Additionally, their littermate syndrome was so bad there were constant fights between the two that often resulted in emergency vet visits. After meeting Mike, we decided to do a 30 day board and train with Zeus who was the most aggressive. The turn around was amazing! Zeus was a new dog. He listened. We were able to take him in public without fear of aggression. The results were so dramatic we decided to also do the 30 day board and train with his brother Valentine. We couldn't be happier. There is still some growling between the two sometimes but it is easily managed and there hasn't been a significant confrontation since their training. They often play together and we are able to feed them both at the same time without fights breaking out. Both dogs listen to commands, walk in the heel position without responding to neighborhood dogs, and will sit by our sides while we have a conversation with neighbors. None of this was possible before. Friends and neighbors have all commented on the positive change in the dogs. If you are considering training for your dog, I highly recommend Resolutions K9 training center. Mike has truly amazing results and the dogs LOVE him! We still participate in weekly group training and Zeus and Valentine are excited every time we go and see Mike.
