We chose PAWSitive Approach because our dog, a very recent rescue and brand new to us, was really insecure and not particularly trusting. After much research, we determined the the positive focus offered by PAWSitive Approach would be the most appropriate way to train our dog. Kathy tailored her sessions to meet our needs while simultaneously training us as well as our dog! She provided comprehensive follow-up notes after each session, gave us "homework" in the form of exercises to do with our dog, and offered great resources such as handouts and videos. She made herself available by email and responded promptly to our questions. Our dog loved the exercises and made great progress in our sessions. We will continue to practice what we learned.
