I highly suggest reaching out to Kathy if you have any dog training needs. We have a fully deaf boxer puppy and wanted to make sure we were on top of certain aspects of our puppy's training for safety and quality of life. Kathy was fantastic, caring, and very knowledgeable. It's clear that she keeps up-to-date on training techniques and really cares about her clients.

Our family adopted a “medium” puppy from a local shelter. He soon grew into a large somewhat fearful dog. We struggled to find the appropriate amount of guidance and balanced discipline to help our puppy learn and focus on what we wanted. Kathy has helped us to direct his energy and intelligence in a positive manner that feels good to both of us. Her clear follow up, homework and helpful videos are great to re-enforce the hands on learning sessions. We are grateful for her knowledge and perspective on a variety of training scenarios and techniques. With her gentle guidance, information and enthusiastic approach, we have the tools for a happy and well-mannered dog. Our dog has become a nice, calm addition to our family. We couldn’t be more pleased with our newly formed training techniques.
Kathy really loves and cares about dogs and it shows. She made sure to listen to us and understand the issues, helped walk through how to correct then with our dog, and even gave us homework to make sure the training didn't slip. Kathy has been an amazing part of our journey with our pup Finley. We had one goal in mind and that was to have a well behaved and polite dog that would be good around other dogs and people. Kathy has taught us the tools and techniques we needed to pass other dogs on walks, how to immediately get his attention when needed and the lists goes on and on. If you are looking for a trainer that is experienced and truly passionate about what they do, I would highly recommend Kathy.
