So I was recommended this place by a friend for my fur baby. I read nothing but amazing reviews from others and learned all the trainers were or are police k9 officers, so my worries disappeared! My beautiful baby is so sweet and goofy but very stubborn, main issues being recall and really bad on leash. I never had to train a dog before. I saw videos on obedience and leash training, but still wasn't doing well trying to train her on my own. So I went onto their website and inquired about the 4 week boarding training program. Shortly after, I was contacted by Nikki who had an in-depth conversation with me about their program and the expectations I had for my dog. Decided after the call to officially enroll my dog and set up a drop off date after filling out the actual application online. Drop off day finally came and although I was going to miss my baby alot, I knew this was going to be excellent for her and a great foundation to keep building upon. ALSO! You only pay 1/2 when you drop off, then pay the other half after you pick up and get an in-depth session with the person who trains them and helps show you how to continue training. Charles was her trainer and I couldn't be happier! I was kept informed and sent videos frequently. I could see so much improvement with each video! I could also see how much he cared about her and how well taken care of she was. With the videos, he also voiced over what he was doing, the reasoning behind the way he was doing it, and how to continue it when she is back home. 1 month finally passed and I got to pick her up today. I had a good sit down with Charles where he went over all the training he did, what training tools he used, and explained a lot of the reasoning of why these tools were used and how to properly use them to get the positive results. He also made sure to address any concerns and questions I had when it came to transitioning my dog back home. Then I got to see my baby again! Charles first showed me how he trained her on leash and recall by actually doing it with her. Then he had me practice with her. It was great bc there were so many distractions at the time and she did well! Im not expecting perfection from her, but the difference is incredible! He also really wanted to make sure I was confident in continuing the training once she got back home which I greatly appreciated. By then end, I did feel more confident and am excited to continue training her. I was given a brand new training cot, a prong collar, and a leash to help continue training. I was also told that if I ever had any questions or issues or if I just wanted to send positive updates on her training, please contact them and/or Charles. I 100% recommend this place to others and it is very much worth the investment for you and your fur baby💙

Casey was amazing and Indy is a new dog. He is able to control his stress. He went from being hyperactive and aggressive to now following commands. He now knows how to control things that cause him overstimulation. It has turned into a positive experience overall and I highly recommend this to anyone struggling with a getting a dog well behaved to interact in society. Casey was truly his person and seeing how much respect Indy had for her confirmed I selected the right place to get Indy back on track. Thanks again

When I came to visit my granddaughter in November she had a new puppy Stella. As cute as Stella was she had some bad habits accidents in the house 3 to 4 times a day, jumping and chasing the cats around the house. Stella just couldn’t sit still and had no control. I came back down to visit my granddaughter and Ms. Stella is a well mannered little lady. No accidents, no jumping no chasing the cats around the house. Stella is much more relaxed and enjoyable to be around. Thank you Taylor for helping my granddaughter and her puppy Stella you made my visit so much more enjoyable.

I am incredibly thankful for the training Arlo received from Ridgeside K9 (shoutout Taylor!). Arlo is about a year old, and I knew he would be difficult to train when I adopted him. Arlo was part of a 17 dog seize/cruelty case. He had come a long way in the five months that I had him, but I knew some of his behaviors needed professional training. My gentle parenting style was not working and I was nervous about any other approach due to his violent history and extreme anxiety. Arlo has always been the sweetest and happiest dog, but he was barking while I ate, terrified of people, digging in the yard, jumping on me and breaking skin/bruising me, chewing/destroying things in my home, resting every 5 feet on walks and many other struggles (see photo resisting lol). I specifically asked Taylor to help Arlo during human meals so as part of his training she took him to a restaurant. Upon his return, Arlo settled in and needed to understand that the rules apply at home too, not just there. My first night with him home I was able to eat at the dinner table while he chilled on his place cot - it was the first meal I had in "peace" with him. A true miracle (lol). We went for a walk at ACE hardware and Arlo greeted people which he has NEVER done before, he was unsupervised outside in my yard and didn't dig. I was also able to leave him uncrated while I ran to the grocery store and he didn't destroy anything, we also went for a little walk and he was able to walk nicely and didn't stop once. During our walk, Arlo stopped when I stopped, and he was right by my side. Arlo is still rebuilding trust with people and gaining confidence again, but he has come a long way and I am so proud of him.
