I am really happy that Aaron Jeter was our dog trainer. He was very attentive, knowledgeable, and easy to talk with. He took his time during our brief course on how to manage Leon moving forward. He addressed all of our inquiries, and he continues to stay in touch with us even after Leon completed his training. He sent us photos and updates every day. We’ve been recommending him to our family, friends, and coworkers because they noticed a significant improvement in our dog. Leon used to pull me a lot when he saw other dogs or people, and he would refuse to leave our yard or go for a walk. His reactivity used to be a major concern, but now he’s learned to leave people and dogs alone unless we give him permission to interact. We’ve been able to enjoy walks in various parks, trips to stores, and social outings with friends and other dogs. It made a huge difference—all thanks to Jeter. The two weeks of dog training with him were completely worthwhile. I attached the photo of our Leon and Jeter. He looks so comfy with him.

I can’t recommend Jeff and Ridgeside K9 Nashville enough! Willow just completed the three week deaf dog training program, and the transformation has been amazing. She started out pulling on the leash, play biting too hard, jumping, and wanting to attack the other dog in the home. I had no idea where to begin with training a deaf dog, but Jeff is incredibly knowledgeable and did an amazing job teaching both me and Willow. She came back with manners and so much more confidence. Jeff has also been a huge help in guiding us through the process of getting Willow and my cousin’s dog to coexist peacefully, and all of Willow’s training is making a big difference in that process. Even now that the program is over, I still feel completely supported. Jeff continues to check in and make sure everything is going well. I’m so grateful for everything he has done for Willow!

Ridgeside K9 has drastically improved our relationship with our dog! This was our first experience having a puppy. We were able to get the basics down but needed major help when it came to our dog’s reactivity. She ran away often, and never came when recalled. After two weeks with Jeff, she returned after every recall and quickly learned and respected backyard boundaries. Jeff was transparent and attentive to our needs and concerns throughout the whole training process. Our relationship with our dog has drastically improved after returning home. Thank you, Jeff!

Aaron worked with Hazel for just over 3weeks and the work he got done was amazing! She had some resource guarding issues with guarding me and the house. She is a very anxious girl so he worked on lots of exposure being out in public and she has made great progress. I think our favorite part of the experience was the off leash training as it has granted her a lot more freedom and makes it much easier to burn off all her extra energy. He did a great job at giving me peace of mind with daily communication with pictures! I would definitely recommend Ridgeside K9 for anyone looking for training, whether it just be simple obedience or resource guarding.
