Ridgeside K9 Tampa

Our German Shepherd/Weimaraner mix was 5 months old and developing some major behavioral issues when on leash. It became pretty much a chore just to take her potty and we were pretty burnt out with trying to handle it on our own. When I spoke to Mackenzie and she explained their program I knew it was exactly what we were looking for and 4 weeks later our little Zoe came home completely transformed in the best way!! I was worried her personality would change but she is as happy go lucky as ever and soooooo much easier to work with. I went from holding onto her leash for dear life to practically not needing to hold it at all!! Thank you so much to Mackenzie she was not only a miracle worker with our fur baby but also a wealth of knowledge and we will definitely be using her for any other dogs we have in the future!!!

We have a 6 month old lab/hound mix. Kellen was great with our Stella. We did the two week board and train program. We got updates daily so we could see the progress she was making. We are very pleased with her results. She is still a puppy so she needs to mature but she now has an off switch. If she gets too crazy we have the tools to get her to focus on us. We would highly recommend if you need help with dog training!

I left my 5 1/2 month old French Bulldog with Kenzi, where he learned the five commands: sit, come, free, place and heel, after successfully completing the two-week program under her care. She picked him up in the beginning and dropped him off at my home at the end. Kenzi was very thorough, professional and extremely pleasant to work with throughout the whole experience. I received daily/nightly updates with pictures, which reassured me he was learning and in good hands. We went over all he learned at the end of the two weeks and she gave me so much useful information on how to continue training him at home and drilling in everything he's learned so far. I am so happy I chose Ridgeside and that I was lucky enough to get Kenzi as a trainer, she's the best! Highly recommend them and her, 10/10. Thank you Ridgeside and thank you Kenzi :D

Chance stayed with Kenzi for a four-week Board and Train program. As a rescue, Chance has always been fearful, which caused unwanted behaviors that could no longer be tolerated. After being with Kenzi, Chance is much more mellow, and we both have a newfound respect and understanding for each other. Kenzi allowed Chance to be himself, but also molded his needs into positive, rewarding behaviors. Kenzi also takes the time to understand the relationship and “train” the owner, which is half the battle. Thank you!
