Right Way K9 Training was an absolute godsend with our airedlale terrier puppy. If you’re on the fence about the $$, I promise you it’s BEYOND worth it!! Matt was knowledgable, patient, friendly, diligent, and prompt. He takes his job seriously and truly cares about the progress from each session. Matt focuses on practical dog training to make your life and your pups life easier, happier. He helps you understand the reasoning behind your dogs behavior and how to use those tools to effectively communicate with your pup. Matt discussed our initial training goals and by the end of our sessions he had covered everything and then some; from crate training, to heel position, to recall commands.. the list goes on. As with all training, the owner must be willing to put in the time and effort with their dog in order to see results. If you put in the work, you will be left with an obedient, happy dog and ALSO equipped with skills/tools to handle any obedience situation that arises in the future. Thank you for everything!! I owe Matt a lot! He was absolutely incredible. After 2.5 years my pug was displaying puppy behavior and bad habits. Matt’s training was amazing and completely changed my dog! I now can take my dog on walks, leave her alone, have her around other dogs without feeling stressed. I highly recommend his training and techniques! Matt is the dog trainer every family needs. Let’s face it, we all love our dogs. We also all need some help. Matt works with every dog you can think of and gets to know the dog first, and then works with both the dog and you/family on solutions that work. We have a male vizsla who has needed work to address some behavioral issues that at times felt daunting for us first time dog owners to overcome. Matt didn’t just work with our dog, he worked with us tailoring solutions to our life. He’s a great human who loves and truly understands dogs. Matt is a miracle worker. He has genuinely done so much to help our family. As someone who did not grow up with dogs and had to come a longer way than most, he was always patient with me and validated my viewpoint while also teaching me about the animal’s. As a dog instructor, he is incredibly thoughtful and intentional with his training. He is so great at explaining the “Why”. In a sense, he is not just giving us fish, he is teaching us to catch them. The lessons are applicable and easy to carry over in other situations. Much like parenting children, he consistently preaches that structure leads to a happier dynamic for all parties. His methods aren’t for Instagram likes, they are for effectiveness and happier animals. Second, he genuinely loves animals. He cares about your dog as much as you do. He was always available via text for questions, and there for support when that is needed sometimes as a parent. Even though we no longer have the pleasure of living in Cleveland, he will still hop on a Zoom call with us to address any issues that come up.
