Ruined my dog here. I have a male Cane Corso (Italian mastiff) we did the puppy class with great success. Continued with the once weekly obedience group meeting. Other members would not socialize their dogs with mine because of his look. At the time he was about 75-80 pounds and solid black. They allowed their dogs to run off leash in a small enclosure continuously barking at my dog which in turn started to cause anxiety in social situations. They even told me I would have to muzzle my dog if we wanted to continue attending the meetings and pressured me into neutering him. I refused to do either and we stopped going after about 6 months. We began here because I wanted to show my dog in the obedience ring, however all I got was a dog that can’t handle social situations and has what a private trainer/handler has described as barrier aggression. Don’t come here if you don’t have a cute little “mainstream” dog.
