River City Obedience Training

I would highly recommend Sue with River City Obedience for dog training. I have used Sue with two of my dogs now, she does a great job giving me the tools to train my dogs to behave and be a respectful part of the family. My Mom also used Sue to train her lab, she was one of the naughtiest dogs in her training class and at the end her dog was listening to commands and as my Mom tells the story “a different dog”. You can either have her come and train the dog in your home, or send the dog to live with her and it will return trained. If you have a new puppy or are having problems with your dog at home give Sue a call!

River City Obedience Training was just what we needed - personal and effective! We have two Bichon Frise's, one of which was very fearful and had a lot of potty issues! I had been trying several methods I had researched online and in books to help both dogs potty train and learn basic manners but was only getting frustrated. We had issues with over-excitement in the door, potty-ing in the house (!!), bolting out the door, and driving us crazy at bedtime. These issues quickly resolved with Sue's expertise! She took ample time in our home, one-on-one, and over the phone to walk us through the problems and how to help the dog overcome them. She was an excellent coach and taught us methods that our dog picked up on very quickly and that brought results. Many things we had previously tried without success, such as kenneling, were resolved with her advice and step-by-step recommendations. It made traveling a breeze! Prior to this it was difficult to leave the dogs home at all because they would be anxious. After only a few weeks of training we were able to travel with them without having the potty issues we had in the past and having them calm enough in a new place to actually sleep! In fact, we were able to successfully kennel them to go out for activities. This was not possible before. Her training was very extensive and comprehensive and has not only resolved the issues we were frustrated with, with marvelous success, but went beyond to teach our dogs excellent manners! We are very happy! Her prices are very reasonable for the time, attention, and dedication she gives -- she truly works to ensure success for you and your dog. She really understands dog psychology and how to reach them and protect them -- she goes far beyond the steps of a lesson. And her one-on-one method in your home is absolutely perfect. We highly recommend her!
