After trying my heart out to train my dog I finally gave in and decided to enlist the help of professionals. After a recommendation from a friend who also used Brandon’s services with great success I decided to have him help me. My dogs ability to listen and regulate emotions has significantly improved and has helped her quality of life. She has better door manners, learned new commands, walks on a leash better and overall is a bigger joy now that she’s not a complete crazy dog all the time. He was able to do all this without taking any of her personality out of her which I really appreciated. After the training Brandon reached out multiple times to ensure things were going smoothly and I really liked that as well. I would recommend them to anyone looking to get their dog trained.

Brandon has trained both our large breed dogs and we could not be happier with the results. His genuine love for dogs shows in everything he does. He is so kind and patient with animals and truly connects with them to understand their personalities to help both dogs and their owners succeed. I reached out to RCT around Labor Day. I was kinda lost. Our darling rescue pup was just not catching on to training and I was sure I was doing something wrong. If I’m honest, I wasn’t sure I needed to make an investment like this into a family pet but my hands were so full in that moment as life had gotten more hectic than we expected this summer. I was a mess and making my dog crazy. We met up with Jason and tried to explain where we had been and where we would like to be able to go with Fenby. She is so gentle and affectionate, but that tender heart probably hid some trauma from her rescue. As we approached the end of her second week Jason called with an update, we all agreed she could use an extra week. The whole team chipped in to help but bless her, Fenby is just full blooded derp. I know Jason had hoped to get her a bit further before she returned home but we were amazed by how much progress she made! Our girl is a bit of a late bloomer, but the confidence she gained was incredible. The confidence we got from Jason saved our sanity! This was the best investment we’ve made in any pet. The follow up support is not marketing, it is real. This isn’t our first dog, this isn’t our first training. Jason has generously been available for a couple of follow up texts and a very lengthy call without hesitation. We are learning that Fenby responds best to us when we touch her as we give a command. We could not have gotten here on our own. She’s learning something new every week now! We could not be more pleased. This is hands down the best dog we have ever owned, and we feel like she has a whole bonus family! Thank you.

It was clear when our dog was very young that she was going to need some serious training. Being a Bloodhound, you can imagine that Jolene was stubborn! She misbehaved badly, too. Not many people are willing to train Bloodhounds, but Brandon at Riverbend Canine Training actually wanted the challenge! He was able to break her of her bad behaviors, and teach her appropriate behaviors. Brandon turned our Jolene into a dog anyone would love. She knows what's expected of her because he taught her. We can take her anywhere now and not worry because of his training. He taught us how to reinforce her new found good behaviors so that she will continue to do them for as long as we expect her to. After getting back such a well-trained lovable dog, we decided to have Brandon train our other dog, too. Lucy, a Boxador, didn't have super bad behavior problems, but there were a few things we needed him to break. In her excitement of meeting people, Lucy would jump on them. She also pulled like a freight train on her leash. Brandon broke Lucy of these bad habits and taught her all the same good behaviors he taught Jolene. I love that I can walk my dogs off leash and they will heel side by side next to me. I love that I can place my dogs in a sit or down position and they'll stay there until I verbally release them. I love that my dogs have door manners and know they're expected to sit before going through a door. The list goes on! If you're looking for someone to train your dog, look no further. From the initial interview/evaluation until the day I picked my Sassy up from her 2 week intensive program I felt totally at ease with the Riverbend K9Training. It was my goals for her appropriate obedience that became the guiding force with her integrated training regimen established by the knowledgeable owner, Brandon, and his well-meshed staff, especially Harrison.I brought her home to a chaotic home environment due to the holidays with Family, friends, and , yes other family dogs, but as a 5 mo old pup she had made great strides in her behaviors and interactions with the other dogs.
