Rob's Dogs (Dog Training)

Nathan has been an incredible trainer for my Belgian Malinois, Lilith. From our very first meeting, it was obvious how passionate he is about dogs and dog training. His energy, enthusiasm, and positive attitude make every session enjoyable, and you can tell he genuinely loves what he does. What stands out most is how well he understands Lilith. Belgian Malinois are intelligent, high-drive dogs that require a trainer who truly knows the breed, and Nathan absolutely does. He is patient, knowledgeable, and takes the time to explain not only what to do, but why it works. His one-on-one training approach has been invaluable, and he has built a wonderful connection with Lilith. Nathan is not only an outstanding trainer but also an exceptional teacher. He makes learning easy, builds confidence in both dog and owner, and creates a supportive environment where you feel encouraged every step of the way. I am incredibly grateful to have found someone who cares so much about his clients and their dogs. I highly recommend Nathan to anyone looking for a skilled, professional, and genuinely kind dog trainer. If his boss is reading this, give this man a raise. Seriously. Trainers like Nathan are rare, and his passion, knowledge, and dedication deserve to be recognized. Lilith and I couldn't recommend him more highly!

Awesome place!! Just picked up my dog from the 3-week off-leash training program and they did a great job! Nathan, the trainer, was amazing and so easy to work with. Their team gave me constant updates with photos and videos to show me his progress during the 3 weeks, which was great to see. The brand new facility is incredible, its super nice with a ton of space for the dogs. Most importantly you can tell the whole staff really cares and has a passion for what they do, especially Nathan. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend! My dog Rocky spent most of his life at a rescue. He’s a Pitbull/retriever & was super reactive to cats, dogs, even people every now & then. He was a really big leash puller & is really strong! I contacted Rob’s dogs and had him stay at the Board & Train for a week. I CANNOT EVEN EXPLAIN THE MIRACLE OF ROBS DOGS TO YOU. Bree and all the other staff worked with Rocky so well. They sent me videos during the week of them working with him. He LOVES the staff and I’m sure he was sad to leave them!!! He is perfect on the leash now & the reactivity to cats/dogs/people is so much different. It’s really really manageable and he is so much more confident in himself after being here for a week. I would highly recommend Rob’s dogs (Bree & Ian are awesome trainers!) to everyone. Seriously get your dog trained here. For real!

It took me some time to write this review because I wanted to reflect thoughtfully on my experience and be fair in my assessment. I believe part of my disappointment stemmed from my own misunderstanding of where my dog, Oreo, truly was in his training journey. This isn’t intended as criticism of Rob’s Dogs, but rather as insight for others whose dogs may require more extensive behavioral modification rather than standard obedience work. For the price and program length, the results felt somewhat underwhelming. I expected a higher level of progress than what we achieved, and it ultimately took working with another trainer — including an additional board and train and private lessons — to reach the outcomes I initially anticipated from Rob’s Dogs. In hindsight, a week simply wasn’t sufficient for the level of behavioral modification Oreo needed, and I didn’t fully grasp that at the time. He likely required a different approach and more sustained training to address those deeper needs. That said, I still believe Rob’s Dogs is well-suited for dogs with a strong foundational understanding of obedience who simply need refinement and structure. Their numerous positive reviews reflect the success many owners have had. However, for dogs requiring more specialized or in-depth behavioral modification, a longer or more tailored program may yield better results. A sincere thank-you to Zita and Danny (if I’m recalling correctly) for their care and attention during Oreo’s stay. They were professional, compassionate, and clearly dedicated to their work. While the experience didn’t fully meet my expectations, I still appreciate the time, effort, and care that went into Oreo’s training.
