I am on a fixed income and have a puppy who is 10 months old she is St. Bernard and great Dane. She is in need of training to learn to not jump up on people to walk beside me when being letc. my question is how long approximately what it takes
Hi Lynne, how long training takes to resolve behavioral issues and teach better behaviors depends largely on the owner and their ability to successfully practice what we teach. Our boy, Drax is an amazing dog who is loving happy, and well behaved. He is Drax The Wonderdog thanks to Jeff and his keen understanding of dogs and how to train them. Jeff’s approach is always positive and force free which results in happy confident dogs. We are blessed to have Drax in our lives We are blessed that he’s the Wonderdog thanks to Jeff.
Jeff is an amazing trainer and has done phenomenal work with myself and my Husky puppy. Anyone who knows huskies knows they are smart and stubborn and can be more than a handful. Jeff is patient and kind and clearly has the biggest heart for the animals both in his care and in his training. Thank you so much for all your hard work Jeff!
Jeff was very helpful in getting our dog to focus and stay attentive to us. He used a positive behavior approach. Our dog was NOT treated maliciously in any way and his positive behavior reinforcement helped our dog to be more obedient. Our dog absolutely loves Jeff and looked forward to his visits! We have an energetic, dog-reactive, and mischevious Brittany. We were disciplining him all wrong, and failed to reinforce his positive behaviors. While we didn't resolve all of Winston's challenges, Jeff gave us the tools to continue to train ourselves to help him. That's the most important take away from Jeff's trainings! You may not have time or money to have enough sessions to achieve all your goals, but you do get the proper tools in your toolbelt to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and trusting in efforts to correct negative behaviors. Jeff is a genuine, friendly, and charismatic dog trainer who certainly helped us see changes in our dog, Winston.
