Rolling Meadows Academy of Dog Training

I cannot say enough good things about Rolling Meadows Academy of Dog Training. We purchased a Vizsla and picked him up on 12/31/17. He was 12 weeks old at that time. Now, it is important to note that we had previously owned a Vizsla that passed away 2 years ago. For anyone who are familiar with Vizslas, you would know that they are very smart and highly energetic dogs. We did not take our previous Vizsla to get trained and realized that was a mistake. He was a great dog but did not listen well and was a pain when we had visitors because he was always in your face. We started our puppy at Rolling Meadows when he was 3 months old and we have been overwhelmed with the change in our puppy. He is now almost 5 months old and is already so well behaved. He will actually sit in "his place" while we eat dinner. He waits at the door when we go outside until we tell him it is ok. He sits politely to be loved. We cannot wait to start the next phase of training at 6 months. We want to be able to eventually run with him in races and take him everywhere we go. We have all the confidence in the world that this will happen with Rolling Meadows. We actually may do the training for a therapy dog in the future.

I love this academy! Barbara and her team do a fantastic job. It is hard to leave your fur baby for long periods of time but when you walk in to see them you can see how happy they are and how well treated they are. Barbara is phenomenal with dogs. We plan to always have our pets trained here, she is not only our trainer, she has become a friend. Your pet is always her top priority. Thank you Barbara for everything you have done! Your awesome!!!!

We LOVE our dog, Dutch. Rolling Meadows Academy trained Dutch to meet our families needs along with matching up our personalities and energy levels. Rolling Meadows Academy took into account our family which contains 2 very young (sometimes impulsive) boys and an ancient-frail dog-disliking cat. Dutch is the puzzle piece that has completed our family. And I will say as a mom of two young boys, it is refreshing to have a dog that always listens to me the first time :) Truthfully, I never imagined getting a pre-trained pet but now after a little time with Dutch and going through the process with Rolling Meadows, if I ever want another dog the first thing I will do is call Rolling Meadows.
