Royal Dog Academy

Master Dog Training is a wonderfully effective academy for any breed and any age dog. We signed up our boy, 10 month old Great Dane, for the academy’s 10 Day Obedience Boot Camp. Not only did the academy’s methods of teaching our dog basic obedience along with socializing with other dogs and humans impact how well our dog now behaves and obeys us, but also the academy’s training methods for my boyfriend and I greatly impacted us as responsible owners and handlers of such a large breed. I cannot express enough how much confidence the academy has given us in working with our boy, and I cannot express enough even more how happy we are with Master Dog Trainers. We had the pleasure of working with trainers Allen, Maxim and Josh. All three trainers were so helpful and knowledgeable. Josh was the trainer we worked with the most with our boy, and I feel I need to especially thank Josh for being so thorough in his methods, and explaining so well why and how we handle our boy in everyday situations. He really goes above and beyond, thank you Josh! Victoria, the academy’s manager, was impressively responsive and cooperative with us during our boy’s enrollment. She always responded to my calls and texts in a timely fashion, and sent us lots of pictures while our boy was in his 10 day training. She is a great asset to the academy and was so incredibly helpful in making us feel so comfortable during our boy’s time there. Thank you, Victoria! I highly recommend Master Dog Training for EVERYBODY, whether it be hour long classes here and there, or for programs like we did for our boy. THANK YOU MASTERS SO SO SO MUCH!!!!

My dog was in the 10 day program but barely learned any training. All he learned was how to sit and sometimes lay down. Which I could have trained myself. I wanted him there so he would learn to not pick up on my other dogs barking behavior while walking around the block. I should have known when I was talking to one of the trainers he corrected my dogs behavior with extreme force. My dog was very scared and hiding behind my fiancé and I. I feel terrible that I didn't just take my money and run! Way to expensive because you have to provide food, choke collars (which they choked my dog so hard that he had puncture wounds that had scabbed over) As I was reading up on my Boxer breed it says that Boxers do not respond well with corrective punishment training. Had they taken the time to google my dogs breed that they respond more to the click training better because of positive reinforcement maybe my dog would have learned so much more and I wouldn't be out $3500. Waste of time. There are other places that will train your dog without abuse.
