I can’t say enough incredible things about Lucy’s trainer, Sofia of Ruff Times Dog Training. The level of professionalism, knowledge, and attention to detail is truly exceptional. She has such a kind , calm energy that immediately puts both dogs and owners at ease. I even have fun while we are training Lucy and enjoy the training also ! What I appreciate most is how she customizes the training to fit real-life situations. Lucy has already made noticeable progress—especially with commands like “down “ and we feel so much more in control and confident as owners. Every session feels intentional, structured, and results-driven. She doesn’t just teach commands—she educates you on the psychology behind them, which makes everything click and actually stick long-term. It’s clear she genuinely cares and is fully invested in each dog’s success. If you’re looking for a trainer who delivers real results with a thoughtful, elevated approach, she is absolutely worth it.

I got my puppy Kirby at the age of 5 months. I contacted Sofia for puppy training and she was super easy to work with. She came to my house and taught my dog all the basic commands in just a few trainings. She was easy to communicate with and always patient with my dog and I. One of my main concerns with my dog was her reactivity with strangers. After training with Sofia, my dog improved so much! Sofia even did a training with my dog and I at Home Depot to practice in public. My dog no longer barks at any other people or dogs that come across us. I feel so much more confident in my dog’s behavior and how I can handle her. I am so thankful for Sofia and would recommend her fully!
