Sofia is a true gem 💎 I struggle to trust people with our dogs, but Sofia truly cares and wants what’s best for them. Our frenchies, Anna and Charlie, have been going to her day school, boarded and trained with her, and done at home lessons (to include our more mature dog Cesar as well). They always run to the car all excited thinking they’re going to school!! Ever since we started working with Sofia, we’ve seen a tremendous positive change in our pups. Anna absolutely adored all the training with Sofia and truly became a well behaved, yet still wild in the best way, puppy because of her guidance and the effort Sofia put into training her. She mastered all the basic commands in no time and Sofia helped lay the foundation for fun trick training we could practice with her in the future. Charlie, being deaf and with an unknown past, has always been a challenge to us, but he has been making great progress with Sofia as well, and we feel confident that even though he requires a little bit of extra effort, he will get to where he needs to be thanks to Ruff Times. Sofia takes such great care of our dogs while they’re with her, always sends updates, training progress, explanations, and a lot of cute videos and pictures. Her dogs ABBA and Gonzo are also super friendly and seem to be great assistants!

I can’t say enough great things about Sofia from Ruff Times Dog Training! She worked with my two German Shepherds while I was on vacation, and even though they were only with her for a short time, the results have been amazing. Before training, I honestly believed my dogs just couldn’t be around other dogs without issues—but Sofia completely changed that. She worked wonders with them! They are now so much more patient, especially on walks and when they’re near other dogs. I’ve even started taking them to the dog park, something I never thought I’d be able to do without stress or worry. Sofia clearly has a gift with animals and treated my dogs with the same love and care I would. I'm so grateful for the work she put in—she truly gave me peace of mind and gave my dogs the confidence and structure they needed. Sofia is an extremely talented trainer. You can get quick results and see your dog behavior improve Almost immediately after the first class. As an owner you always have to continue the training at home. I also experienced her onboarding services and you have the option to incorporate the training option at the same time and it was totally worth it. We came back to a more disciplined dog. They had a great time on the onboarding and she sent us a lot of pictures and videos with comments about the training she was applying. You really in good hands if you choose Ruff Times Dog Training to train your dog and for onboarding services. We still have a long road and we are excited we found Sofia to help us with it…

We sent our 9 month old shiba to Ruff Times for boarding and training for 3 weeks while we traveled and could not have had a better experience! Although we missed our baby, Sofia was reassuring and sent almost daily pictures and videos so we could see how Susan was spending her day (training and safely playing with other dogs) and the new commands she was progressing on. Shibas are notoriously hard to train, but Sofia worked with Susan and put a lot of time and effort into making sure she was getting through! Additionally, she sent thorough explanations of dog psychology, how to use the commands, and how to best work with Susan going forward. My favorite part was that through her videos and messages, we could tell that Sofia really cared for our baby and she was getting the love that we couldn’t give her while we were away. We’re happy to have Susan home and she is definitely still our playful puppy, but has been much better behaved since her stay at Ruff Times! It’s so great to know that we can trust Ruff Times for boarding when we travel, and for support with training for Susan when we need it!
