Ruff World Training

Ruff world changed my life. My dog is and always has been super sweet, but a few behaviors like eating things off the ground and fence fighting I JUST COULDN’T stop. Dylan helped me figure out how to communicate with her in all sorts of contexts. Following his advice to ignore the fence fighting behavior until I had a more solid recall and OUT command (which I was skeptical about) reduced the problem a huge amount, because I was no longer making my already overexcited dog more excited. He provides all the tools you need and is incredibly patient, with dogs and humans alike.

Dylan is an exceptional, naturally intuitive dog trainer. We hired him to teach Acorn, our one year old chihuahua yorkie mix (and us), basic obedience skills. Small dogs can get away with much and we wanted her to be well behaved. Dylan is very knowledgeable and took his time clearly teaching skills. Though our understanding is that he trains rescue dogs does that are much larger, he connected with our small pup who was always really excited to see him. He has our highest recommendation.

I can't begin to describe how incredible our experience has been with Dylan, and Ruff World Training! Aside from excellent dog training, their platform to successfully train and home abandoned dogs is so inspiring. We reached out to RWT in December, after a behavioral incident occurred between our young pup and older dog (two male Bouviers), looking for guidance and training. We'd received feedback from other training companies that our situation was likely unsolvable, until we met with Dylan. He provided me a sense of relief in a matter of minutes in our first call, and at our first session, reassured us that we could work through this together. Within the first month we have noticed significant improvement in our pup's obedience, behavior with the other dogs, and our own confidence. Dylan's approach to training is for both the pups and the owners. He's honest, thoughtful, methodical, thorough, and results driven. He provides a clear plan, and isn't afraid to adjust training methodology along the way as needed. In addition, he's kind, caring and friendly. We start every session with a game or play and our pup is ALWAYS excited for training! We 1000% recommend working with Dylan and Ruff World Training!
