I can’t say enough good things about RuffLife Training! Our dog was struggling with several behavioral issues—constant jumping on guests, terrible leash manners, and complete anxiety when riding in the car. We were overwhelmed and unsure where to start. From the very first session, Shilee was calm, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. She took the time to understand our dog’s unique personality and tailored the training accordingly. Within just a few sessions, the transformation was remarkable. We opted for the three week intensive training and it was absolutely fantastic. We received consistent updates, videos, and reassurance of her progress. The jumping has stopped—our dog now greets people politely. Walks used to be chaotic, but now they’re enjoyable and relaxed thanks to the leash training techniques we learned. And perhaps most surprisingly, car rides are no longer a battle! With consistent guidance and a lot of patience, our dog now hops in calmly and rides without panic. We appreciated the clear communication, hands-on demonstrations, and the support provided between sessions. It’s obvious that the RuffLife team genuinely cares about the success of both dog and owner. Our family is forever grateful for the transformation we’ve experienced with our sweet and now well behaved Pearl.

We can’t thank Shilee enough for all the hard work, care, and dedication she’s shown to our pup and our family. At a time when life felt overwhelming—having just adopted our sweet doggie, moving to a new state, and living in a house under construction—Shilee and her board and train program were exactly what we needed. She made the process so comforting by keeping us in the loop with weekly videos and photos that we looked forward to every time. Knowing we could call or text her at any time truly gave us peace of mind. It was clear from the beginning that she genuinely cares for the dogs she works with, and that made it so much easier to trust her with our fur baby. I cannot say enough great things about Ruff Life K9/ Shilee. Our dog needed some help with walking on a leash and not jumping on guests and in 3 short weeks Shilee had these issues fixed. She is still our fun loving dog, but listens and responds to commands. Shilee was great about sending us videos and pictures while she had Penny which made the 3 weeks not seem so long. She explained everything she did/taught her and made it easy to transition Penny back home to us. I love that she also offers boarding. Penny loves Shilee and we are so thankful for her training!!

We LOVED are experience with RuffLife. Shilee really takes the time to understand the unique needs of the dog to help them feel comfortable so they are able to grow and learn. She is patient and so kind with the dogs but also the owners. She makes sure it’s a team effort and the owner is just as involved to make sure the dog has the best opportunity to improve in the needed area. My boy is a timid and anxious furball but he warmed up to her fast and can now do so much. She also continues to check in and is happy to still help even after our sessions are over. RuffLife is Shadow approved and his is a tough critic. 🩶
