Run By Dogs

My dog Ani was always very reactive towards other dogs. We trained with Run By Dogs. We went camping this weekend with several friends, and it could not have gone better! It was her first camping trip ever, and since we started training. Ani was sooooo good! I had people come up to me and say that it was nice to see a well-trained dog! I told them I was working with a fantastic trainer! We walked all over that campground for three days, and Ani was barked AT by lots of dogs, but there was not a peep out of her! She kept her focus on me! She was also excellent while traveling in the camper! I have a new understanding of transferring skills. I give Ani and Run By Dogs both an A Plus! Could not have done it without this training for both me and my dog! Well worth the cost to have my dog be able to go out into the world with me!

A week ago my granddaughter and I went for a dog sledding adventure. I saw Run By Dogs on Channel 10's Off The Beaten Path. It is only about 15 minutes from us an I thought what a b great thing to experience with my oldest granddaughter. The experience was totally awesome. Many thanks to Kate for sharing this with others. Her knowledge is amazing. Many thanks to Kerry who works along side Kate and Heidi getting us registered. There's an unseen person, Dylan who kept me posted about the sledding conditions arrival time and road conditions getting to facility. It was much appreciated. The biggest and best ( sorry humans) were the dogs. They are so beautiful and dedicated. The excitement to take us over the snow in their sled is not contained. They are so eager to go. They love the attention when their job is done. Though to them it's not a job it's pure happiness. I don't have a bucket list but for those who do I would definitely put it on the to do list. Thanks to all of you for giving Addy and I such a great memory.

What an amazing experience! We always do our annual Christmas ski trip. This year we wanted a day to do something different. We came across Run By Dogs and booked immediately. Small, family owned and loved business. The dogs are well loved and they seem to enjoy what they do. We had a nice snow covered path but understand they have a cart for the dirt paths when no snow. Our family of five all got to do 1 run with Kate. Highly recommend! If there is recent snow fall, make sure you have an AWD vehicle to get up the path.
