Now I've got a happy, calm, and loving dog who brings me joy every day. Before my dog went to Kate for board-and-train, we did months of classic obedience training. He was great most of the time, but would violently lash out if he was uncomfortable. Barking, writhing, biting. Certain situations like going to the vet, bathing, and nail trims were impossible to manage without dog medication. Kate taught my dog how to help himself. She gave him the confidence he needed to navigate daily life and stressful situations, and showed him how to be an easygoing member of the family who can be included in social gatherings and errands. Kate involved me in the training in a way that inspired confidence in handling my dog. During periodic visits to her facility, Kate helped me reframe and rebuild the relationship. I can't thank her enough for her amazing work. It is clear to me that Kate pours her soul into every case. She loves the animals she works with, and dedicates herself to helping dogs that less tenacious people would just discard.
