FirstBarkMy dog loves going to Runchkin for obedience classes. Robin and her staff are really knowledgeable, and helpful in educating the humans too. The facility itself is really a great space. There are a lot of different classes offered too (obedience, scent work, prong collar, etc). I definitely recommend Runchkin Hill if you are looking for a great training experience.

We provide a professional dog training services of all breeds and ages in West Newbury, MA. Robin, our company owner, comes from three generations of breeding and training horses and dogs. Robin and her crew are amazing. We just rescued a 5-7yo female pitbull that is amazing/calm with us but clearly had some past trauma. She was very reactive to strangers & dogs and in just 2 sessions with them we saw a HUGE difference in her listening to commands, and she has become remarkably less reactive to other dogs when we are out and out. It makes us feel more comfortable and safe knowing she is getting the training she needs to keep everyone safe. We are still in training but so glad we found them!

We started bringing our German shepherd Cash to Robin about a year and a half ago. We have noticed such a huge difference in his behavior for the better. Robin is always helpful with whatever questions we might have. We had tried a few other trainers before Robin and her staff but no one compares. We know that Cash is always cared for when he is there! We recommend anyone looking for training to give Runchkin Hill a call!
I am not someone to leave my dog with anyone. I trained with Robin earlier in the year and was taking a trip away. I left my dog with Robin for 2 nights. She made sure to answer any questions or let me know how my dog was doing. She is wonderful and highly recommend her for both boarding and training. She loves what she does and it shows through her work.
