We recently sent our 1-year-old GSP/lab mix to Rushcreek for obedience and retriever training, and got back a completely different dog! She has been much easier and more fun to work with since her return and has learned her to harness her VERY abundant energy into a job, leaving her more calm and content. We can take her for walks without getting frustrated, and she will eventually take over as our main gun dog as our lab retires to a more relaxed life at home. Ryan is a great guy to work with and allowed us to visit and work with Delta throughout the 4 months she was with him. He also sent us regular video updates documenting her progress and was very transparent about how long it would take and if she’d need more or less work on certain skills. 10/10 highly recommend.

Ryan did a phenomenal job training our 2 labs. His training practices are extremely fair, ethical, direct and effective. He is very passionate about working with dogs and loves what he is doing and it really shows! Our 2 boys were returned to us with their personalities intact, unchanged and thriving which is huge! Ryan was very accessible throughout the training process and regularly sent updates and progress videos which was wonderful! Due to an injury/surgery/long rehab for one of our boys (totally unrelated to his time with Ryan) we sent our other boy back to Ryan for advanced training which was a blessing. Ryan worked with him, prepared him and ran him in some hunt test/trials with ALL goals accomplished. Ryan has been receptive to and very willing to see us on occasion for “continued education” with our progress and long term goals. Could NOT imagine any better of an experience with training our dogs…..Ryan is the best!

Ryan is an amazing dog trainer. I was so nervous about sending her girl away and he quickly made me feel at ease. He would send us video updates and pictures which helped while we were separated. My husband went to visit our Bella girl after she had been there several weeks and he could tell that she was being loved and had already learned a lot. Now we have a super obedient dog that we can take anywhere and know that she is going to behave! Give Ryan a call today, you will not regret it. Best money we ever spent!!

We adopted our little boy Mitch and he quickly grew into a very big boy, as we have never had large dogs I didn’t feel comfortable even walking him around the block. Mitch stayed with Ryan at Rushcreek Kennels for 4 weeks and while we missed him it was the best decision ever made! Ryan worked miracles on him, he walks by my side perfectly doesn’t pull, comes when called and generally listens to all commands, and this is almost five months out. We visited Mitch twice to train and work with Ryan which was a pleasure, Ryan sent pictures and notes of how Mitch was doing throughout his stay. The price was right though, now looking back we would’ve paid more knowing the results. I was apprehensive to leave our dog somewhere two hours away and for so long but after the first visit and training session, seeing the difference in Mitch and how Ryan treated the dogs in training I was fine. Mitch walked back to his kennel with Ryan and didn’t look back which said what I needed to know. Thank you Ryan!
